Think of a facial as extreme cleaning for your face; while lying on a bed, under covers, in a dimly lit room, with the sounds and smells of relaxation!
Your arms & decollete (upper chest) area will be exposed so I can cleanse, analyze your skin under a magnifying lamp, exfoliate (to remove dead skin cells & give you a glowing complexion), extract open comedones (blackheads....to help give you a smooth complexion), a facial...neck...and shoulder massage (heavenly! You know...the area where you carry all your tension! Bliss!), followed with a moisturizer, eye cream, and spf!
I use AMAZING products...so while it make feel like "fluffy stuff", you're actually receiving skin nutrition! Irritant free, preservative free, fragrance free, and cruelty free, RESULT driven skin care!

How are your acne facials different from any of the other treatments I've tried? My treatments are different because I'M DIFFERENT from any of the other treatments you've tried! I'm here to help you find the source of your acne....not only treat the effects! It is definitely a team effort. Acne & breakouts are caused by SOOOOO many different things! It makes no sense for you to keep trying different skin care lines, supplements, laundry detergents - if the source of your acne is an allergic reaction to something you're eating! Or perhaps you're using an over the counter cleanser FULL of chemical irritants & wondering why you have little red bumps all over your face or red cheeks that burn when you put anything on them. This is good news...we can treat this! ;) I promise I'm very gentle & will give you a home care regime to get you on track. I've seen so many different skin conditions over the past 5 + years, but rest assured in knowing most are managed with choosing a proper cleanser & moisturizer. The most common precursors to skin "acne" I've seen...
- Irritating products causing sensitized skin which is not "acne", but may easily be confused with it.
- Improper cleansing techniques or underexfoliation
- Low water consumption (or diet) = improper elimination = congested skin! Especially in cheek area! Our skin is an excretory organ, so whatever is going on inside will most likely present on the face!
Excess facial hair: what's normal, what's not? Many women experience excess facial hair to some degree. In my experience I'd say roughly 80% or so are dealing with this behind closed doors. You are not alone! My role as your aesthetician, is to provide hair removal! Please come in for a consultation to find out the best option for you.
Excess androgen (testosterone & dhea) is the hormone responsible for hirsutism. Please consult your doctor to evaluate the cause of your excess androgen.
